Meet Delphine Marcella Shooter

Hey! I am a freelance digital artist specifically for illustration and animation. I, however, acquired some experience and education in graphic design, as well.
My love for art stemmed from my interest in human features and animated films. I started with making doodles at the back of my notebooks to making short illustrated stories and posting them on my social media pages.
My goal is to work at top animation studios around the world and probably even set up my own studio for illustrating children's books.
I use software such as Photoshop, Autodesk sketchbook and Storyboarder but I have not forgotten my traditional art roots. There is so much I am looking forward to learning to become the best professional artist I can be.

General Sketches

I love to do all my brainstorming and character development in the form of traditional art.
I am good at sketching and I use pencils and coloured pencils in my sketchbook before I transfer the final sketch into the digital medium.

Character Illustration

This is one of my best commissions done. It was one of a set of illustrations done based on Bible scriptures.
This one was illustrated from Psalm 105:8, “The Lord remembers His covenant forever.”
The rainbow was meant to signify the rainbow that appeared after the flood of 40 days and what it represented to Noah from God.

Sequential Illustrations

My illustration services have included comics, book illustrations and storyboards. My main interest has been in children's books and slice of life stories.

Graphic Design

I have been able to work in the area of brand design and have produced some logos, posters, package designs and more.
